94-05a A Bur Oak (Quercus macrocarpa) was grown in 1994 from a seedling of one of our best spontaneous pre-cemetery bur oak trees that grows along the south side of Logan Road west of the Abbey in the south part of Oak Ridge. It represents our commitment to maintain for the next generation the Oak Ridge provenance of the trees that were here when the cemetery was dedicated.
