Tree Description:
94-03k –This Cory Oak, Quercus ×coryana (syn Q. bicolor × Q. muehlenbergii) is the 11th offspring of many grown here from a tree planted on site decades ago. The parent was a broadly spreading tree in the Garden of the Good Shepherd, near another half sibling which had a much more upright form. We are watching all of these second-generation trees to determine how much variation is present.
