2025 Tour

Tree Description:

96-06b –One of our most successful and easily identified oak hybrids, a cross between shingle oak and black oak, this might be the first one you will see in the forest that you might recognize. They vary a lot, and here you can see two of then near each other to compare. Both of these were propagated from the spontaneous tree in Block 7, shown on a previous tour. See also 96-06A.
