Tree Description:
0-115– There are very few Tilia (Linden) trees in Oak Ridge, and this one is outstanding. It’s one of several European linden species and the most adaptable one to our part of the world. The spring flowers make some of the best bee honey found anywhere and the symmetrical form makes a superb, long-lived landscape tree. Some of these found in European villages are more than 500 years old and still thriving.
