Tree Description:
94-16 – Quercus mongolica (Mongolian Oak) becomes a large, strong tree of exceptional hardiness, with rounded leaves clustered at the ends of its twigs giving it a billowy appearance. This tree was grown from seed provided by the Canadian Agricultural Experiment Station at Morden, Manitoba, where the tree is perfectly hardy in extreme winters.
