Tree Description:

0-110 –Old cemeteries frequently were planted with the evergreen Thuja occidentalis (White Cedar or Arborvitae), an evergreen native to the far north that seems to live almost forever and is sometimes called the tree of life. Many of them still survive in old cemeteries and around historic houses today, and countless cultivars are still planted. Several can be seen near this aromatic, soft needled old twin tree of unknown age.
